2. Pin Bar: Institutional Rejection
The Pin Bar (Pinocchio Bar) is the most powerful reversal signal in Price Action. It features a small body with an exceptionally long wick on one side.
Bullish Pin Bar
A long lower wick indicates that sellers pushed the price down, but institutional buyers aggressively stepped in, rejecting the lower prices. Best traded when formed at major Support levels.
Bearish Pin Bar
A long upper wick shows a failure of buyers to maintain higher prices, followed by an aggressive sell-off. Highly potent when aligned with Market Structure (LH).
3. Engulfing: Momentum Shift
An Engulfing pattern consists of two candles where the second candle's body completely overshadows (engulfs) the previous one.
A Bullish Engulfing at the bottom of a downtrend proves that buying momentum has completely overwhelmed the remaining sellers. It is a definitive shift in power, especially if accompanied by high trading volume (Volume Filter).
4. Context Over Patterns (Supply & Demand)
A Pin Bar floating in the middle of nowhere is worthless. Price Action patterns must be combined with Market Context, specifically Supply and Demand zones.
Smart Money leaves footprints where massive orders are executed. Identifying these historical Supply (Resistance) and Demand (Support) blocks, and waiting patiently for a Price Action trigger (like an Engulfing bar) inside these zones, is the core secret to naked trading success.
